Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox announce tools to block Web tracking by advertisers

Google and Mozilla are each bringing features to their Web browsers that allow users to block advertisers who track their Web surfing habits. Mozilla Firefox’s Do Not Track feature is under development, and Google Chrome’s Keep My Opt-Outs is available now. A similar tool for users is coming to Internet Explorer 9, Microsoft said.
